1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Yawmi ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Yawmi is an Islamic growth companion app that helps users track daily prayers, adhkar (remembrances), fasting, habits, and other acts of worship. The App provides:
- Prayer time calculations based on your location
- Prayer and worship logging
- Habit tracking and goal setting
- Qibla compass direction
- Dhikr (remembrance) counters
- Dua journal
- Progress analytics and insights
- Social features including friend accountability
3. Account & Authentication
You may use the App without creating an account. Optional sign-in via Apple is available for cloud backup and social features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
Yawmi offers a free tier and a premium subscription ("Yawmi Pro").
Free Features:
- Prayer times and logging
- Basic adhkar (3 Quls)
- Up to 5 custom habits
- 2 dhikr counters
- 2 themes (Midnight & Daylight)
- Qibla compass
- Dua journal
Yawmi Pro Includes:
- 14 premium themes
- Unlimited habits and dhikr counters
- Advanced prayer and habit insights
- Fasting tracker with Sunnah analytics
- Levels, achievements, and share cards
- Friend challenges and leaderboards
- Cloud sync and data restore
- Excused mode
- Home screen prayer widget
Billing:
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account via the App Store
- Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
Free Trial:
- New users receive a 7-day free trial of Yawmi Pro
- The trial begins automatically when you first set your location
- After the trial, free features remain accessible; Pro features require a subscription
- Bonus trial days may be earned through the referral program (up to 6 additional days)
5. User Content & Data
You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App, including prayer logs, habits, duas, and personal notes. We do not claim any rights to your content.
Your data is stored locally on your device and optionally backed up to Firebase cloud storage if you sign in. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
- Share your account access with unauthorized users
- Use the social features to harass, spam, or send harmful content to other users
- Misrepresent your identity or create fraudulent accounts
7. Religious Content Disclaimer
Yawmi provides Islamic content sourced from authentic collections including Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, and other trusted hadith and scholarly references. However:
- The App is a tool for personal tracking and motivation, not a substitute for scholarly guidance
- Prayer times are calculated algorithmically based on your location and may vary slightly from your local mosque
- For religious rulings or questions of fiqh, consult a qualified Islamic scholar
- Qibla direction is approximate and based on device compass readings
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, and original content, is the intellectual property of Mohammed Chouri. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for:
- Data loss due to device failure, app updates, or technical issues
- Inaccuracies in prayer time calculations or Qibla direction
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Actions taken by other users in social features
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your locally stored data remains on your device unless you delete the App.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which the developer resides.
